We committed to creating an inviting and inspiring studio in which you can unwind and focus on YOUR goals!
To do this, we ask the following...
So that we may best serve you, please arrive at least 10-15 minutes early for your first lesson so that you may fill out our brief client questionnaire.
Unless otherwise noted, all sessions are 55 minutes. If you are late to your private or duet, the instructor must still end the session at the originally scheduled time.
For your safety, please do not enter the exercise space of the studio and use equipment without your instructor.
Please do not wear heavy perfumes or foot powder
Please arrive on time for group classes. Out of respect for other class participants and for your safety, we cannot admit clients to class more than 15 minutes after the start of class.
Exercise clothing should allow for a full range of movement. Biking shorts or leggings are recommended; please, no baggy shorts. Please be mindful of zippers that can damage studio equipment.
Please be considerate of other clients who may want to book a class and cancel your spot at least 24 hours in advance
Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) may result in a charge for the cancelled class
We respect your privacy. We will never sell, share, or provide your information to anyone, for any purpose unless your authorization has been obtained in advance.
Please mute or turn off your cell phones during class
In the event of snow (when schools are closed, etc.) we understand that you may not be able to attend your lesson. In this case, you will not be charged. Please keep an eye out for emails for Studio closings. We will also make an announcement on our homepage.
We do our very best to honor your request for instructors. If, however, we cannot do so, we encourage you to try one of our many highly trained and dedicated instructors. Very rarely, one of our instructors gets sick or must take a personal day. We do our best to notify you ahead of time, but please understand that circumstances are sometimes beyond our control and we will always do our utmost to provide you with a high quality lesson.
If your condition changes - for instance, if you become pregnant or suffer even a minor fall - please let us know so that we may provide the best possible service for you.
What is Yoga?
Yoga aims to make the human body into a fit and worthy vehicle for self-realization. It is a very practical means of awakening and releasing hidden qualities, strengths and understanding in the practitioner. Countless postural, breathing, and meditative techniques are utilized to foster strength, flexibility, awareness, and above all, a state of deep and profound relaxation. This brings the student to a much greater sense of who they are and how their body is; weaknesses are first revealed then strengthened and healed; strengths are developed, and understanding grows; beginning with the body, the breath, the self, and then others, the world, and life itself. Fantastic as these claims may sound, the reason Yoga has been around for thousands of years is because it really does work!
What is Pilates?
A series of over 500 movements engage both the mind and the body and are performed on specialized exercise apparatus designed by Joseph Pilates and supervised by certified instructors. Unlike many training programs, Pilates works the whole body, emphasizing control, precision and concentration in both the mind and the body.
Movements are not performed rapidly or repeated excessively instead, the focus is on quality not quantity. The abdominal muscles, lower back and buttocks ("powerhouse") serve as the center of all movement, allowing the rest of the body to move freely. This focus on core stabilization makes one stronger from the inside out and is critical for the advancement of the client.
What are the benefit of Pilates?
Practiced faithfully, Pilates yields numerous benefits. Increased lung capacity and circulation through deep, healthy breathing is a primary focus. Strength and flexibility, particularly of the abdomen and back muscles, coordination-both muscular and mental, are key components in an effective Pilates program.
Posture, balance, and core strength are all increased. Bone density and joint health improve, and many experience positive body awareness for the first time. Pilates teaches balance and control of the body, and that capacity spills over into other areas of one's life.
Is Pilates safe?
The low impact nature of Pilates makes it ideal for injury prevention and rehabilitation. Its six principles-concentration, control, centering, breathing, flow and precision-train the body to move efficiently with minimal impact on the body. The balance between strength and flexibility creates a healthy, vigorous and symmetrical workout for all muscle groups resulting in a leaner, more balanced, and stronger body.

What is MELT?
The MELT Method uses a specially designed soft body roller to simulate the results of hands-on manual therapy treatments.
These techniques hydrate and lengthen connective tissue, rebalance the nervous system, promote healing and detoxification, decompress the neck and low back, improve core stability, mobilize joints, stimulate organ function, increase flexibility, and much more.
