Dear Client,
We hope you had a
wonderful Thanksgiving with your family. With the nice weather
outside it can sometimes be hard to believe we are in the middle of
the winter season. Nonetheless the weather can be fickle and we
include with this newsletter some ideas on how to stay warm when the
winter chills arrive or how to stay sane when the holidays arrive.
In addition,
we'd like to remind everyone of what to do in the event of a
snowstorm. We also review our Gift Certificate offerings - always
welcomed by those interested in staying or becoming more healthy in
the new year.
Last, but not least, we are
introducing a new offering at our studio: Free Class of The Month.
We hope you
enjoy this issue and we look forward to seeing you at our studio, a
place where you can work your body in a peaceful and relaxing
environment!

SPECIAL
"YOGA NIDRA WORKSHOP" -
Let your body get some "Yogic Sleep!"
We had a lot of interest in this workshop last month, but were unable to hold
the second workshop. Swapna has agreed to move the class into this month, and we
are excited to offer you another chance to let your body experience the deep
Yogic relaxation.
Wednesday, December 6th at 6PM
'Yoga Nidra'
- means Yogic Sleep. It is a state of deep sleep yet fully conscious and awake.
Yoga
Nidra is an ancient most, universal process that has neither been invented nor
rediscovered in recent years. This practice has been known to the sages of the
Himalayas for a very long time. It is a 'sleep' where all the burdens are thrown
off to attain more blissful state of awareness, a relaxation much more intense
than ordinary sleep. It also prepares the mind for spiritual discipline.
Yoga
Nidra helps in restoring mental, emotional, and physical
health
by the way of relaxation.

Cost: We are asking our clients to let us know in advance if they are planning
on attending this wonderful workshop. If you have a mat class card with us, you
can use that towards this special workshop. If you are interested in this
class, but don't have a class card with us, you may still participate in this
amazing workshop for $25.

INCLEMENT WEATHER
As we head into the fall and winter months there
are bound to be days when the weather turns so bad that it might be unsafe for
you or for our instructors to travel to the studio.
Simply
call the studio at
(908) 754 5901 and listen to the recorded message.
Studio closings
will be recorded on the machine by 7AM. You will not be responsible for missing a
scheduled Tower or a Private session if the studio is closed that day.
At the same
time, if there is only a light drizzle or a snow dusting outside, and the studio
is open, we do hope you to see you. |

CLASS OF THE MONTH:
Flow Yoga with Denise, December 5th
6:30-7:45PM
We
had a terrific response last month to our offer of coming in and
trying out a "Core and More" class. We did have a request, however,
to offer the next free class in the evening. Not only are
we doing that, but we've decided to offer a series of yoga and
pilates class FREE to the general public.
It is a great way for you to try a
class you've never taken before and a terrific way to sample all of our
offerings! |

On a side note, the free class we offered last month, "Core and More" will
now be a regular class. This class offered Mondays 9:30 - 10:30 AM will
taught by either Cheryl or Kristen.
Come prepared to work your abdominals and build body strength though a sequence
of challenging Yoga poses! If you are looking to really tone up that
tummy area, this is the class for you! |

Odds & Ends...
Countdown to "The Better Half" - 3 months
till the BravoTV show partially shot at our Warren studio which asks
the question: "Can a non-exercising doctor (my husband) be turned
into a fitness instructor in less than two days?"
If you think this sounds funny, wait till you see David, my
husband, trying to choreograph a fitness routine on national television!
Pilates Duets - If you are a private Pilates client who would like to
find a duet partner, please let us know your availability and we will do our
best to match you up with a suitable partner. |
